The Real GDP

GDP tells you how much money moves. Not how well a country is doing. We measure the 5 things that actually make a country wealthy.

5 dimensions of real wealth

Every country gets a score from 0 to 100 in each dimension. The Real GDP is the average.

Physical

Roads, bridges, airports, power grids, internet cables, hospitals, factories. Everything humans have built that makes an economy run. A country with crumbling infrastructure is like a business with broken machines — it doesn't matter how talented your people are if the tools don't work.

Country Rankings

The coloured bar shows the 5 dimensions stacked. The white bar is traditional GDP per capita — see how they diverge.
